Yesterday was a very scary day. I woke up about 5:15 and realized I was spotting! That of course made me very, very nervous. I didn't have a bad feeling, but I just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong. I went to the doctor first thing that morning and they immediately fit me in. They went ahead and did an ultrasound and checked out the baby. She said the baby was fine! I was so happy! I got to hear the heartbeat again (162 bpm) and I saw the baby moving around on the screen. It was moving its little arms and legs around like it was so happy. (For the record, I don't like calling the baby it, can someone give me a better word besides it or he/she). I saw the doctor after that (actually the nurse practioner) and she said that everything was fine. I had some cells on my cervix that were bleeding, but it was common. She went ahead and did my bloodwork and is checking my progesterone level. I am going back tomorrow for another check up since I had an appt anyway and I will see the doctor this time. I will update you soon with more news. As far as I know though, everything is great. I haven't had any cramping or pain at all so I'm not worried. Please pray for us though if you will. I will leave you with an ultrasound pic from yesterday. The baby is a lot bigger compared to last time I went. (Last time I was 6 weeks 6 days, this time 10 weeks 5 days!)
