Ok, I know it's almost been a week since Thanksgiving, but I guess I'm slow. Well I'm sure you are all wondering how excited our families were when we told them the GREAT news!! I have to say, they were very, very excited!! I don't have any pictures or video to post of their excited faces, but that's ok. Both families were very excited to hear the good news.
We told Grady's family on Wednesday night. His mom said that she was ready for another grandbaby and well, I wish I would have had my camera to take a picture of Candi's face. It was priceless. Jimmy was very happy, which we knew he would be since he's been telling us we need to have a baby since we got married. We told the rest of his family on Thursday and they were all very excited!
We told my family on Thursday night at our Thanksgiving dinner. Things didn't go exactly as planned (hence, no video for you to see), but they were all very excited! Mom cried of course (so did I). She was very, very excited! All in all, our whole family was excited! I got to call Holly and tell her and of course she was super excited! I'm so happy we got finally share our exciting news with everyone.
As for Thanksgiving, we ate way too much. I'm so happy that I had a four-day weekend because I slept most of it. There was one day that I shopped with Mom (thanks Mom)...but other than that, there was a lot of laziness going on. I'm looking forward to this weekend! We are getting our Christmas tree...time to get in the Christmas spirit!
